Software Security Engineer, Distributed Systems

What you'll do

• Build and integrate high-performance security tools and custom scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and secure Terraform templates to harden cloud infrastructure by design.
• Lead the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle using a risk-based approach to prioritize remediation.
• Conduct threat modeling and architectural reviews to ensure new features are resilient and scalable.
• Act as the technical lead for audits by automating evidence collection for compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production security issues using distributed tracing and monitoring tools.
• Secure distributed micro-services architecture on Google Cloud Platform.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience in Security Engineering for MTS level or 5+ years for SMTS level.
• Strong experience in Go, Java, or Python with a solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming and automation.
• Deep experience with GCP and Terraform for managing cloud security posture and infrastructure.
• Practical experience with network protocols, Linux OS hardening, and modern attack vectors.
• Experience in secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices (preferred).
• Familiarity with container security technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
• Experience with developing or contributing to open source tools (preferred).
