Software Quality Engineering Manager, Instructional Products

What you'll do

• Own the quality strategy for client apps from the concept phase through final release.
• Define and execute AI-driven QA plans that combine automated validation with human oversight.
• Build and maintain automated test infrastructure including CI/CD gates, regression suites, and performance testing.
• Establish release-readiness criteria and test strategies for high-risk software launches.
• Lead failure analysis and root-cause investigations to ensure timely risk mitigation.
• Use data-driven metrics to assess risk and communicate quality status to leadership.
• Mentor a team of engineers to embed quality best practices across the entire organization.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of professional work experience in software QA.
• 4+ years of experience managing or leading quality engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on engineering ability to build test tooling and review systems-level code.
• Thorough understanding of the SDLC, specifically CI/CD and automated QA in agile environments.
• Working knowledge of client/server architectures, including those using RESTful APIs.
• Outstanding communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
