Software Quality Engineer, Officer

What you'll do

• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans in Xray for each sprint.
• Log, track, and triage defects with well-documented, reproducible steps.
• Expand and enhance automated test coverage to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot automated test failures.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Validate acceptance criteria during grooming sessions to ensure testability and clarity.
• Configure and manage automated test environments using tools like Jenkins or TeamCity.
• Present and demo completed QA stories during team and department demos.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in software testing within a process-driven technology environment.
• Exposure to financial services and/or investment management domains.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Proven experience with test automation (UI and/or API).
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus (preferred).
