Software Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• Build and maintain automated UI test suites using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium with scalable architectures like Page Object Models.
• Use AI engineering tools to generate, refactor, debug, and validate test code while ensuring maintainable and trustworthy output.
• Perform visual regression testing for standard DOM UI and rendering-heavy surfaces like canvas, WebGL, and WebGPU.
• Write and execute C++ unit and integration tests using frameworks such as Google Test or Catch2.
• Debug and isolate rendering bugs across the C++/web boundary, including memory leaks and native binding issues.
• Execute and manage automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines across various environments, including GPU-enabled runners.
• Monitor and measure rendering performance metrics such as frame rate, memory growth, and Web Vitals.
• Triage bugs and communicate technical findings clearly to both frontend and systems engineering teams.

What we're looking for

• Experience writing and maintaining automated UI test suites using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Experience with visual regression testing for DOM UI and rendering-heavy surfaces like canvas, WebGL, or WebGPU.
• Experience writing and running C++ unit and integration tests using frameworks like Google Test or Catch2.
• Experience debugging C++ code using GDB, LLDB, or Visual Studio debugger to trace issues in the rendered UI.
• Ability to write component-level tests using React Testing Library or Jest.
• Experience running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines such as CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of agentic testing workflows using tools such as Playwright MCP or custom AI agents (preferred).
• Familiarity with artifact storage and visual baseline storage using cloud services like AWS S3 (preferred).
