Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

What you'll do

• Reproduce technical issues reported by OEMs, enterprise customers, and partners.
• Perform root cause analyses and verify defect resolutions with software developers and program managers.
• Validate NVIDIA products on customer-specific platforms and configurations for compatibility and reliability.
• Develop Python, C#, and C++ scripts and diagnostic tools to improve bug reproduction and troubleshooting.
• Build AI-driven tools and technologies to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues across Windows and Linux environments.
• Configure and optimize virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi, Citrix Hypervisor, Microsoft Hyper-V, and KVM.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer support or software/hardware testing.
• Proficiency in Windows, virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, Citrix Hypervisor, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM), and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Proficiency in C# and C++.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
• Solid knowledge of PC architecture, supercomputers, and computer clusters.
• Experience with debugging tools, memory dump analysis, and Windows performance tracing tools (e.g., ETW).
• Knowledge of graphics technology such as DirectX, OpenGL, WDDM, CUDA, and OpenCL.
• Significant expertise in planning, installing, and optimizing virtualization environments (preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of Linux distributions (preferred).
• Experience using Generative AI platforms or LLMs to develop tools (preferred).
