Software Engineers II / Senior Software Engineers, Commerce Platforms

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate scalable cloud-native applications and distributed services.
• Develop end-to-end experiences using C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS, and Azure services.
• Build reusable data processing frameworks, data models, and metrics to support analytical requirements.
• Create intelligent experiences using Generative AI, RAG, AI agents, and workflow orchestration.
• Translate complex requirements into high-quality technical designs and architecture proposals.
• Modernize platforms to improve scalability, security, observability, and developer productivity.
• Maintain high engineering standards using CI/CD, automated testing, and AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Improve live-site health through monitoring, telemetry, troubleshooting, and incident response.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages and frameworks such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS, Scala, Python, and Rest APIs.
• Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
• Experience with cloud-native data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, or Azure Data Lake (preferred).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including source control, build and release pipelines, and CI/CD practices (preferred).
• Experience with SQL, data modeling, and large-scale data processing using technologies such as Apache Spark or Delta Lake (preferred).
• Experience building LLM-enabled applications, RAG solutions, AI agents, or agentic workflows (preferred).
• Experience building enterprise applications or platforms that support complex workflows and API integrations (preferred).
