What you'll do

Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable end-to-end systems including RESTful APIs, microservices, and databases.
Develop backend services that ensure high transactional integrity, scalability, and security for global commerce.
Architect and implement user and developer-facing features across multiple platforms and regions.
Triage and debug complex issues impacting customers and developers to provide actionable fixes.
Integrate new data flows and re-engineer existing processes to support evolving architectures.
Manage the full project lifecycle from initial inception through production deployment.
Create automated tests, monitoring tools, and alerting dashboards to ensure system reliability.

What we're looking for

Must have at least 3 years of software engineering experience maintaining critical systems at scale.
Must possess a BS degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience with Java is preferred.
Experience with load balancing, autoscaling, traffic shaping, distributed systems debugging, and incident response is preferred.
Proficiency with observability tooling including metrics, logs, and performance troubleshooting is preferred.
Strong commitment to automated testing, including integration, load, and end-to-end testing, is preferred.
Experience with SQL and noSQL databases and entity relationship modeling is preferred.
Experience working on highly scalable applications and RESTful web services is preferred.
