The Software Engineering Senior Advisor leads a platform team at Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. to design, develop, and test REST-based entity services for a next-generation service architecture. Manage sprint planning, milestone tracking, and task estimation in an Agile environment.
Define and implement test strategies and standard practices in coordination with the Quality Assurance team.

Resolve urgent production issues and ensure high-quality delivery of complex technology components.
What we're looking for
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Senior Technical Consultant, Technical Consultant, Web Developer, or related occupation.
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience as a Senior Technical Consultant, Technical Consultant, Web Developer, or related occupation.
Experience working with clients in the healthcare or pharmacy benefit management industry.
Experience building Restful APIs in Spring Boot using cloud-based Microservices architecture and Spring Security.
Experience with AWS cloud migration, including migrating data from on-prem Postgres to Aurora DB and using Lambda and S3 sink connectors.
Experience developing data synchronization pipelines using Apache Kafka, Confluent, and MongoDB change streams.
Experience with Java development, SQL, NoSQL, JDBC, Maven, and GitHub for version control and issue tracking.
Experience working in Agile environments and writing unit tests using the Junit framework.
