JOB TITLE: Software Engineering Senior Advisor- Hybrid Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. is seeking a Software Engineering Senior Advisor to provide expert technical content and professional leadership on complex engineering assignments and information technology projects. You will participate in the delivery of a definitive enterprise information environment for analytics and reporting by designing and developing a consolidated enterprise data warehouse and data lake. Responsibilities include providing counsel to top management, defining technical standards, and managing the full software development life cycle. You will use C#, ASP.NET MVC, ML.net, WCF, Web Services, XML, ADO.NET, SSRS, Tableau, SQL, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Auto Mapper. The role involves solving pharmacy benefit management problems, including drug verification, dispensing logic, formulary, and controlled substance compliance.

What you'll do

Provide expert technical counsel and advice to top management on significant engineering matters.
Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle from requirements to implementation.
Design and develop a consolidated enterprise data warehouse and data lake for critical data.
Create methods and tools to analyze large datasets for patterns and relationships.
Define technical standards, design patterns, best practices, and frameworks for the organization.
Engage in production support research and provide resolution recommendations.
Deliver an enterprise information environment that enables strategic decision-making via analytics and reporting.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
4 years of experience in a relevant field.
Experience developing modules of applications in ASP.NET MVC.
Experience developing and supporting ML.net.
Experience working with WCF, Web Services, and XML to communicate with business layer objects.
Experience designing and developing GUI.
Experience working with clients in the healthcare or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry.
Experience with drug verification, dispensing logic, formulary, and controlled substance compliance.
