What you'll do

• Build and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines to ingest vulnerability data and SBOM artifacts.
• Develop scripts and services to automate opening PRs and parsing diffs across multiple repositories.
• Author and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated test coverage for remediation PRs.
• Own feature-level work for pipelines that discover vulnerable packages and track fixes to production.
• Operate and debug production pipelines while reducing toil through automation.
• Translate noisy scanner output into prioritized, actionable work for engineering teams.
• Write Python and Java code that adheres to existing codebase conventions and includes regression tests.
• Create and maintain design docs, runbooks, and clear PR descriptions.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python and Java.
• Reading-fluency in at least two of Node.js, Go, and Ruby.
• Hands-on experience contributing to data pipelines, including writing idempotent steps and reasoning about retries.
• Direct experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with automated test coverage.
• Experience writing scripts or services to interact with many repositories, including opening PRs and parsing diffs.
• Experience with a workflow orchestrator (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or Temporal) and a lakehouse or columnar query engine.
• Proficiency in SQL, including non-trivial joins, window functions, and CTEs.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
