As a Software Engineering & Development Lead, Vice President, you will provide engineering leadership for a large-scale business critical platform within the IMS West business unit. The role requires expertise in AWS Compute services like EC2, Lambda, ECS, or EKS, along with RDS Postgres SQL development and ReactJS front-end programming. You will build cloud-native applications utilizing event-driven architecture, microservices, and serverless patterns. This role addresses the technical challenge of delivering robust enterprise applications and data processing solutions within the financial industry, specifically for reporting and regulatory projects.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience developing enterprise applications and data processing solutions.
  • Experience leading, motivating, coaching, and developing people and teams.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Compute services (EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS) and RDS PostgreSQL development.
  • Proficiency in ReactJS or other front-end programming languages.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture, microservices, and serverless development patterns.
  • Experience leading agile delivery and adhering to SDLC processes.
  • Ability to work primarily in the Pacific Time Zone and collaborate with global teams.
