The Software Engineering & Development, AVP will join the Markets Risk Technology team to support the development of enterprise applications. What you'll do

Design and develop database applications based on business requirements and project schedules.
Build and deploy high-performing, bug-free code using Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, and Redshift.
Create database objects including Views, Materialized Views, Stored Procedures, and Triggers.
Set up data pipelines for ETL jobs across multiple data sources.
Perform data modeling, database design, and performance tuning for scalable, cloud-native architectures.
Execute unit tests to validate data accuracy and ensure quality in target data containers.
Diagnose and resolve database performance issues and provide technical workarounds or escalations.
Manage cloud security configurations including IAM roles, security groups, and encryption keys.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant Database development role.
Strong experience in Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, and Redshift.
Expertise in SQL programming, creating database objects, Views, Materialized Views, Stored Procedures, and Triggers.
Hands-on experience in Data Modeling, DB design, and performance tuning.
Experience setting up data pipelines for ETL jobs across multiple data sources.
Knowledge of Cloud Security in AWS, specifically IAM Roles & Policies, Security Groups, and Encryption keys.
Industry experience in Financial Services (preferred).
