What you'll do

Perform software development using Java technologies for distributed web and enterprise applications.
Interface with stakeholders and users to gather and document project requirements.
Design and develop Java-based software applications to meet specific technical requirements.
Test, install, and maintain software on Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
Develop multi-threaded and distributed Java applications for DoD projects.
Manage software deployment and maintenance across both local and remote sites.
Utilize version control tools like Bitbucket or Git to manage codebases.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
Master's degree (preferred).
Full-time professional programming experience in Java.
Ability to work on Windows and RHEL environments, including the Linux command line interface.
TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
Experience with thick client Java Swing, multi-threaded applications, or distributed Java applications (preferred).
Experience with Java Web servers, relational databases, Jakarta EE, Spring, or RESTful web services (preferred).
Experience with version control tools, front-end development, or C/C++ programming (preferred).
