What you'll do

Apply SRE concepts including monitoring, alerting, and incident management to production systems.
Support performance engineering efforts by profiling and tuning transactional database engines.
Manage services across bare metal, virtualized, and containerized (K8s) platforms.
Execute data migration tasks across hybrid clouds with validation and rollback support.
Maintain technical documentation including runbooks, architecture diagrams, and migration playbooks.
Ensure compliance with local data residency and regulatory requirements for infrastructure.
Support platform tooling for provisioning, backup, restore, and observability across multiple database engines.

What we're looking for

2+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or Infrastructure focused role.
1+ year of Site Reliability experience working against production databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
Hands-on production experience with at least one of Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, including On Call and Incident Management.
Exposure to running infrastructure with reliance on automation tooling across Datacenter and Cloud architectures.
Good understanding in one or more of the following programming languages: Python or Go.
BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
Operational experience with stateful services on Kubernetes (preferred).
Exposure to database-as-a-service control planes, provisioning APIs, or self-service tooling (preferred).
