What you'll do

Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and distributed system principles.
Build and maintain high-throughput APIs, batch processing pipelines, and Mass Action services.
Migrate AWS-based services to Alibaba Cloud including OSS, ACK, and ApsaraMQ.
Implement China-specific data routing and ingestion logic for compliance.
Support and maintain Kubernetes, OpenSearch, Solr, and Kafka platform components.
Update deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, and load testing for the Alibaba Cloud environment.
Participate in production support, debugging, performance tuning, and operational improvements.
Use AI tools and modern engineering practices to improve development productivity and code quality.

What we're looking for

4+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale backend systems.
Strong Java development experience with modern JDK versions.
Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, scalability, and fault-tolerant architectures.
Experience building cloud-native applications on Kubernetes.
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical related field, or international degree equivalent.
Experience working with public cloud platforms and SaaS architectures (preferred).
Strong understanding of CI/CD, deployment automation, and production operations (preferred).
Experience with Kafka, OpenSearch, Solr, or NoSQL databases like Cassandra (preferred).
