Software Engineer, Data Analytics, AI & Data Platforms

What you'll do

• Build and manage data processing platforms with integrated monitoring, alerting, and incident management systems.
• Develop and maintain data analytics and search capabilities across technologies like OpenSearch, ClickHouse, and Milvus.
• Perform performance engineering tasks including profiling and tuning for distributed data systems.
• Manage services across bare metal, virtualized (EC2, AliCloud), and containerized (Kubernetes) environments.
• Execute and support complex data migration tasks across hybrid-cloud infrastructures with validation and rollback support.
• Produce technical documentation including Runbooks, architecture diagrams, and migration playbooks.
• Ensure compliance with local data residency and regulatory requirements for global infrastructure.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the data analytics and/or data search space.
• Experience and knowledge of Java or Python programming languages.
• Hands-on production experience with at least one of: Solar, Elastic Search, Iceberg, ClickHouse, Doris, or Couchbase.
• Exposure to running infrastructure using automation tooling across Datacenter and Cloud architectures (including Alibaba Cloud and/or AWS).
• Operational experience with stateful services on Kubernetes (preferred).
• Experience with database-as-a-service control planes, provisioning APIs, or self-service tooling (preferred).
• Experience with cross-cloud/hybrid-cloud data migrations for transactional systems (preferred).
