Software Engineer, Search and RAG Applications will join the AI, Search & Knowledge Platforms team to develop a best-in-class service for real-time search powering Siri and other Apple search products. What we're looking for
2+ years of industry related experience working in collaborative environments.
Experience writing high-performance server software on Linux/Unix.
Proficiency in at least two of the following languages: C/C++, Go, Python, Java, or Scala.
BS in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience with real-time ingestion pipelines (preferred).
Experience analyzing search ranking and relevance requirements issues and opportunities (preferred).
Experience building machine-learned models for search relevance ranking, query understanding, and questioning (preferred).
Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX for training/deploying deep learning models and experience with RESTful services in production environments (preferred).
