Senior Software Engineer, Search Platform

What you'll do

• Develop and evolve RQS services, APIs, and data flows into a robust resource analytics platform.
• Design and deliver capabilities for relationship-aware resource data and intuitive discovery tools.
• Perform deep debugging across distributed services to identify and resolve complex software issues.
• Implement resilience, capacity optimizations, and performance profiling for high-scale cloud systems.
• Manage API versioning, lifecycle strategies, and multi-tenant contract evolutions.
• Lead technical decisions and code reviews to ensure quality and alignment with system architecture.
• Translate customer requirements into pragmatic platform designs while meeting ambitious project timelines.
• Create and curate technical documentation, samples, and adoption guidance for internal and external consumers.

What we're looking for

• Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud services is required.
• Experience with data-intensive systems, APIs, indexing, query processing, or resource/inventory platforms is required.
• Demonstrated technical leadership without relying on direct authority is required.
• Must possess clear written and verbal communication skills across different teams and time zones.
• Ability to perform deep debugging and troubleshooting for moderately complex software issues.
• Ability to implement performance optimization, scalability strategies, and secure coding practices.
