What you'll do

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks by analyzing system metrics, database queries, and cloud resource usage.
Build and maintain an internal developer platform including self-service tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Operate and secure production Kubernetes clusters managed as code.
Partner with application teams to optimize slow SQL queries and manage database schema changes.
Investigate infrastructure requests to identify underlying needs and propose long-term solutions.
Implement automated, systemic fixes for issues identified through monitoring signals and alerts.
Ensure the persistence layer and infrastructure scale reliably under heavy load.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline.
1+ years of professional experience with networking or infrastructure projects.
1+ years of professional experience programming in Python, Go, or similar languages for infrastructure work.
Experience with Kubernetes in multi-region or large-scale environments.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, ArgoCD, or Helm.
Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ClickHouse, or OpenTelemetry.
Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL, including indexing and query performance in distributed deployments.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, protected refugee, or asylee to meet ITAR requirements.
