What you'll do

Develop automation to deploy and manage on-premise compute resources.
Deploy and manage core infrastructure including databases, monitoring, and distributed storage.
Create highly scalable, operable, and maintainable software products.
Invent tools and processes to enable fast and accurate development and deployment systems.
Provide comprehensive software validation using virtualized, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-orbit test platforms.
Perform monitoring and data analysis to support continuous integration and release systems.
Troubleshoot and integrate components across the entire Starlink stack.
Identify performance bottlenecks and create innovative solutions to increase developer velocity.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or engineering and 5+ years of experience in systems administration, SRE, or DevOps.
7+ years of professional experience in systems administration, site reliability engineering, or DevOps in lieu of a degree.
2+ years of professional experience with Linux operating systems.
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other infrastructure tools.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
Experience in Bash, Python, and/or other scripting languages.
Development experience in Python, C++, or C.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for required Department of State authorizations.
