Software Engineer, Officer will join an agile scrum team to enhance and maintain Charles River IMS modules and components. This role involves analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and debugging small to medium software enhancements and solutions within specific business and technical problem domains. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Business Analysts to turn requirements into sustainable software, participating in product architecture design, providing code reviews, and writing unit and automation tests. Provide thoughtful insights and suggestions during peer code reviews.
Contribute to written design, API documentation, and the customer documentation process.

What we're looking for
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field is required.
MS degree is strongly preferred.
2 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience is required.
2 to 5 years of experience developing solutions for Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance, Post-Trade, IBOR, or Wealth Management is strongly desired.
3 years of experience working with an Agile development methodology is strongly desired.
Demonstrated experience with object-oriented programming, compiler or interpreter technologies, embedded systems, operating systems, and relational databases (RDBMS) is required.
Proficiency in Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript, or other related software engineering languages is required.
Very good written and verbal communication skills are required.
