Software Engineer, Mobile SDK

What you'll do

• Define the client architecture and public APIs for native iOS and Android SDKs.
• Establish foundations for SDKs that are testable, well-documented, and lightweight for customer integration.
• Set standards for compatibility, diagnostics, performance, and release quality across mobile platforms.
• Turn security problems into dependable developer products in collaboration with product and engineering partners.
• Mentor native mobile engineers and raise the team's technical bar through design and code reviews.
• Resolve complex customer integration issues and diagnose production issues across application, SDK, and network boundaries.
• Write technical designs and align decisions across product, client, backend, edge, and security teams.
• Operate within strict mobile performance budgets for binary size, battery use, and startup time.

What we're looking for

• Deep experience building production software for either iOS with Swift or Android with Kotlin.
• Experience designing or owning customer-distributed SDKs, libraries, or similarly constrained developer-facing products.
• Experience with mobile platform security concepts including app integrity, secure key storage, and secure communications.
• Familiarity with native mobile networking stacks, HTTP APIs, and cross-architecture integration challenges.
• Experience diagnosing production issues across application, SDK, network, and service boundaries.
• Understanding of mobile package distribution, source and binary compatibility, and dependency management.
• Experience writing technical designs and mentoring engineers through design and code reviews.
• Export control laws, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
