What you'll do

Develop and optimize data pipelines and workflows for data integration, transformation, and analysis.
Write secure, high-quality production code following AWS best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Create architecture and design documents for complex applications to ensure code meets design constraints.
Implement best practices for data management, quality, security, and compliance.
Use enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to generate, refactor, and test code while validating all outputs.
Apply software development life cycle tools and automation to improve overall engineering value.
Identify hidden patterns in data to enhance coding practices and system architecture.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
Experience with Spark and SQL.
Expertise in Lakehouse/Delta Lake architecture, system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Strong programming skills in Python/PySpark, Databricks, AWS Glue, S3, SQS/SNS, Lambda, and SQL.
Proficiency in orchestration using Airflow.
In-depth knowledge of Big Data and data warehousing concepts.
Experience with CI/CD processes and solid understanding of agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and security measures.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to create, validate, and refine outputs.
Familiarity with Snowflake, Terraform, and LLM (preferred).
Familiarity with Data Observability, Data Quality, Query Optimization, and Cost Optimization (preferred).
AWS certifications such as SAA, Associate Developer, Data Analytics Specialty, or Databricks certification (preferred).
