As a Software Engineer III within the Digital Post Trade Technology team, you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products. You are responsible for executing software solutions, designing complex applications, and performing technical troubleshooting across various business functions. Your daily work involves creating secure production code, maintaining algorithms, and producing architecture artifacts while leveraging enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools for code generation and unit test creation. You will utilize Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and React to build scalable systems. Key responsibilities include analyzing large data sets for system improvements and ensuring adherence to CI/CD, application resiliency, and security standards. You must demonstrate proficiency in database querying, system design, and responsible AI usage within the software development life cycle.

What we're looking for

Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to create, validate, and refine outputs for correctness and security.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and security expectations.
Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
NoSQL experience, cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and familiarity with modern front-end ecosystems (preferred).
