Software Engineer III, Java Full Stack

What you'll do

• Design and develop secure authentication and authorization solutions for customer-facing channels and enterprise platforms.
• Modernize identity and access management systems aligned to open standards.
• Evaluate and prototype internal and vendor solutions for user authentication, anti-fraud, and biometrics.
• Integrate APIs and SDKs for niche authentication solutions and standards like OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Drive software development lifecycle quality through strong engineering practices and code standards.
• Set and model high standards for technical design, development, and testing.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to generate, refactor, and test code while validating all outputs.
• Apply automation capabilities within the software development life cycle toolchain to improve delivery value.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of proficient applied experience.
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, with a strong preference for Java (preferred).
• Experience with application and data architecture principles, including design patterns and business process integration.
• Familiarity with cloud-native development on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to improve code quality and productivity.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and security expectations.
• Experience with modern authentication protocols and standards such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, or SAML (preferred).
• Experience working in regulated financial services or similarly complex enterprise environments (preferred).
