Software Engineer II (Full Stack)

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software components for secure, stable, and scalable technical products.
• Write high-quality, secure code using Java, Python, or other modern programming languages with limited guidance.
• Utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve code quality, refactoring, and automated testing.
• Develop backend services using frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring WebFlux.
• Build RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations using technologies such as Kafka.
• Create user interfaces using React or other modern JavaScript frameworks when required.
• Manage containerized workloads and infrastructure-as-code solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Deploy and support applications on cloud platforms using AWS services like Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or another modern programming language.
• Experience developing and deploying applications on at least one major public-cloud platform, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Experience with specific technologies including Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, React, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle and exposure to agile methodologies like CI/CD.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of outputs.
• Familiarity with OpenAI-compatible APIs, LangChain, or other AI frameworks (preferred); AWS certifications (preferred).
