Software Engineer II - CTJ - POLY joins the M365 Air Gapped Clouds team to build internal tools, implement agentic workflows, and develop software solutions that improve the efficiency of M365 operations in sovereign environments. Working within the Substrate & Security team, you will write and ship code for backend services, infrastructure orchestration, search services, Copilot capabilities, and authentication components. You will be responsible for creating maintainable code, participating in 24/7 on-call live-site incident response as a designated responsible individual, and improving deployment automation. The role requires proficiency in distributed systems and high-scale services using languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+ years of engineering experience (preferred).
Must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.
Must be a U.S. citizen as verified by a valid passport or other approved documents.
Experience with distributed systems and highly scalable services.
Commitment to 24/7 on-call live-site incident response and service ownership.
Ability to collaborate across teams and build technical partnerships.
