What you'll do

  • Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor systems and respond to incidents within SLA timeframes.
  • Build and maintain scalable, reliable software for use in highly secure and airgapped cloud environments.
  • Develop automation tools to streamline production deployments and eliminate repetitive operational tasks.
  • Ensure all services and processes meet rigorous security, privacy, and compliance standards for regulated customers.
  • Analyze system health metrics and performance data to inform product decisions and engineering priorities.
  • Perform break-fix work and contribute code to various partner teams across the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Design systems that are maintainable, observable, and resilient under high pressure.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years of experience coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to meet legal requirements for supporting government agency customers.
  • Must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and a Polygraph.
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience (preferred).
  • Experience with full stack development, modern frameworks, cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and Git/GitHub workflows (preferred).
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Windows or Linux system administration and deep debugging skills across the stack (preferred).
  • Experience building large-scale production services with a focus on reliability, observability, performance, and incident response (preferred).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, writing maintainable code, and communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences (preferred).
