As a Software Engineer II - CTJ - Poly, you will join a combined DevOps team responsible for cloud design, service architecture, engineering infrastructure, and data platform development. You will build and improve scalable, reliable services within complex cloud environments while managing production systems to meet performance SLAs. Your daily work involves designing and automating service scale features, investigating pre-production and production issues, and implementing fixes. The role requires proficiency in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, along with experience in Windows/Linux systems, Kubernetes, and CI/CD concepts using Git, Azure DevOps, and GitHub. This position specifically supports Sovereign and Government Clouds, providing high-scale security solutions to protect against active attack attempts within government environments while ensuring system stability for internal and external users.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years of experience coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python (or equivalent experience).
Must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.
Must be a U.S. citizen as required by federal, state, and local government agency restrictions.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check every two years.
Understanding and experience with CI/CD concepts and Git (preferred).
2+ years of hands-on Windows or Linux system experience (preferred).
Experience debugging issues across operating systems, applications, and cloud environments (preferred).
Experience with Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, GitHub tooling, and large-scale production service support including logging and monitoring (preferred).
