  • Break down large projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases.
  • Design solutions that interact with multiple software components while ensuring code is well-tested and extensible.
  • Monitor system metrics and participate in on-call rotations to ensure service availability.
  • Navigate a large codebase to debug issues and provide feedback through peer code reviews.
  • Articulate technical constraints and trade-offs during the product development lifecycle.
  • Participate in the interview process to support team growth and community building.

What we're looking for

  • You must have at least 1.5 years of experience as a software engineer.
  • You must be proficient in either Python or Kotlin for backend development.
  • You should have experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems.
  • You must be familiar with distributed systems and technologies like AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
  • You must be able to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code for complex software components.
  • You must be comfortable navigating large codebases, debugging others' code, and performing code reviews.
  • You must possess strong verbal and written communication skills for global team collaboration.
  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
