What you'll do

  • Establish and improve code review and design standards to foster a culture of quality.
  • Identify and resolve project, process, technology, or business issues proactively.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to develop the talent of other engineers on the team.

What we're looking for

  • You must have 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using Python or Kotlin.
  • You must have a track record of developing highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
  • You must be able to define technical plans for significant features with elegant, simple, and extensible designs.
  • You must be proficient at making significant changes in large codebases while maintaining safety through tools and practices.
  • You must possess strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
