Software Engineer, Hardware Engineering Operations

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain web applications, MCP services, and APIs for AI-enabled engineering tools.
• Develop scalable software solutions and workflow automation to empower hardware engineering teams.
• Build secure interfaces connecting data pipelines, simulation environments, and machine learning services.
• Define requirements and build proof-of-concepts in collaboration with internal partners.
• Lead design discussions and set technical direction for project areas to ensure scalability.
• Manage the full software lifecycle including testing, deployment, and continuous improvement via CI/CD.
• Develop multi-tier web applications using Java, Spring, or similar JVM-based frameworks.
• Maintain production systems and microservices within Linux environments and containerized infrastructures.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4 years of experience developing software applications, particularly in JVM languages.
• 4 years of experience gathering and defining software requirements for complex projects as an individual contributor.
• Experience developing multi-tier web applications using modern frameworks, Spring or Java EE technologies, and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with hardware engineering concepts and experience building microservices at scale.
• Proficiency in Linux environments, JVM containers, and nginx.
• Experience with Grails, React, or Angular frameworks is beneficial.
• Strong system design skills including proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases.
