What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain automated simulation pipelines to generate large training datasets for AI surrogate models.
  • Create scripts using APIs like ANSA, Star-CCM+, or Abaqus to automate geometry parameterization, meshing, and post-processing.
  • Build parametric workflows to automate batch simulation execution and data extraction across multiple engineering domains.
  • Orchestrate large-scale simulation campaigns on HPC clusters using job schedulers and workflow managers.
  • Implement data management systems including cleaning, metadata tagging, and versioned storage for simulation results.
  • Develop general automation tools to streamline day-to-day engineering workflows in design, analysis, and testing.
  • Integrate simulation tools with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems to ensure reproducible datasets.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, data science, math, physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of professional experience building software or simulation pipelines in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 1 year of software development experience.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with at least one simulation domain such as CFD, FEA, thermal, or structural analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python for scientific computing and automation on Linux systems.
  • Experience scripting simulation APIs like ANSA Python API or Star-CCM+ macros.
  • Experience orchestrating large-scale simulations on HPC clusters using job schedulers like Slurm.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
