Software Engineer Embedded Systems I will join a dedicated engineering team to develop next-generation innovations in operating systems, firmware, networking stacks, and security infrastructure. The role involves developing and maintaining critical software and tools that ensure hardware compatibility, network performance, and security for core products. You will work on the integration of hardware and software while managing low-level networking technologies. Required skills include proficiency in C programming, experience in embedded Linux environments, and a solid understanding of operating system fundamentals. The position requires knowledge of routing protocols, network architecture, and automation scripts using Python or Bash. Additionally, you will utilize CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins or GitHub Actions and apply DevSecOps practices. Preferred qualifications include experience with FPGA development, cybersecurity principles, signal and power integrity, PCB design, and a conceptual understanding of AI/ML technologies.

What we're looking for
Meet one of the following: Bachelor's degree with 0 years experience; education/work program with 1 year experience; or high school diploma with 2 years experience.
Relevant education or training must be in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in C programming and experience working in embedded Linux environments including operating system fundamentals.
Working knowledge of core networking principles, routing protocols, and general network architecture concepts.
Hands-on experience developing automation scripts using Python or Bash.
Experience utilizing CI/CD pipelines and applying DevSecOps practices within software workflows.
Conceptual understanding or hands-on experience with AI/ML (preferred).
Understanding of cybersecurity principles, security protocols, FPGA development, signal/power integrity, and PCB design (preferred).
