Software Engineer, Dev Infra, Air Defense

What you'll do

• Build and operate software infrastructure for the Air Defense program.
• Develop backend services and data pipelines to support internal engineering teams.
• Create developer tools and tooling to improve engineer productivity and deployment speed.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS GovCloud and commercial platforms using Terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, reproducible builds, and container security tooling.
• Execute end-to-end tasks including writing Go/Python services and debugging production issues.
• Maintain and monitor software systems to ensure reliability for high-stakes defense programs.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. Person due to export control requirements.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience building backend software or developer tooling for end users is required.
• Ability to work end-to-end on problems involving Go/Python services, AWS infrastructure via Terraform, and CI integration.
• At least 3+ years of experience working with programming languages such as Rust, Go, C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), CI/CD tools, and software infrastructure fundamentals like networking and distributed systems.
• Experience with modern build and deployment tooling such as NixOS or Terraform.
• Familiarity with container technologies, SBOM tooling, or vulnerability scanning.
