What you'll do

Design and evolve scalable distributed systems, APIs, and platform capabilities while balancing security and performance requirements.
Develop automated tests, monitoring tools, and telemetry to improve software quality and service observability.
Implement security, privacy, and compliance best practices throughout the software development lifecycle in restricted environments.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the software stack using data to improve system reliability.
Build and maintain software features that meet specific customer requirements within high-security constraints.
Perform operational activities including incident response and readiness reviews for mission-critical services.
Review designs and code to ensure high engineering quality and operational readiness.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a Microsoft Cloud background check.
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of technical engineering experience (preferred).
Experience building cloud-native applications, distributed systems, microservices, or large-scale backend services (preferred).
Experience with containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, telemetry, or AI-assisted development tools (preferred).
