Software Engineer, Battlespace Awareness

What you'll do

• Prototype state-of-the-art software solutions in an agile development environment.
• Implement high-performance software ranging from tactical systems to web applications.
• Use high-fidelity modeling and simulation environments to quantify technology benefits.
• Engage with customers to ensure successful outcomes for mission-critical needs.
• Manage all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Explain technical processes and objectives to colleagues and customers.
• Contribute expertise and ideas to the strategic direction of a small team.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or another technical field (advanced degree strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Matlab.
• Experience with big data, NoSQL, and database technologies.
• Expertise in software design, algorithm implementation, analysis, testing, and optimization.
• Experience in machine learning including supervised/unsupervised learning, clustering, and classification.
• Knowledge of applied mathematics including differential equations, linear algebra, optimization, statistics, and random processes.
• Knowledge of engineering concepts such as controls, estimation theory, and digital signal processing.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
