Senior Software Engineer, Sensor Fusion

What you'll do

• Write production-quality C++ and Python code for mission-critical defense systems.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through pair programming and technical guidance.
• Shape the technical direction of a small team while remaining hands-on in design and implementation.
• Prototype state-of-the-art software solutions and guide them toward tactical deployment.
• Implement high-performance software ranging from tactical systems to web applications.
• Use modeling, simulation environments, and analysis tools to quantify technology benefits.
• Lead technical meetings, sprint planning, and customer engagements for mission-critical needs.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to colleagues, customers, and non-technical stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of software engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/work experience.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers and providing technical leadership while remaining a hands-on individual contributor.
• Experience navigating large, complex codebases as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Direct experience in air and missile defense domains such as multi-target tracking, sensor fusion, or command-and-control systems.
• Proficiency in software design, algorithm implementation, machine learning (supervised/unsupervised), and applied mathematics.
• Knowledge of engineering principles including controls, estimation theory, and digital signal processing.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
