As a Software Engineer 3 on the Application Modernization Platform team, you will help transform rigid legacy applications into modern microservices-based architectures on MongoDB. What you'll do

Develop the platform infrastructure to enable a "build once, run anywhere" model for modernization tools.
Build automated frameworks to validate functional equivalence, performance benchmarks, and data integrity during migrations.
Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into developer workflows to automate unit test generation and edge-case discovery.
Design and implement systems to ensure database state equivalence using change data capture and event-driven interception.
Develop high-quality code for the modernization suite and its supporting distributed systems.
Manage infrastructure tasks including CI/CD pipelines, quality assurance, and testing protocols.
Create developer-centric tools and frameworks to overcome complex security and network constraints in client environments.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of commercial software development experience with a JVM language like Java and the Spring ecosystem.
Expertise in integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into developer workflows for automated testing and edge-case discovery.
Experience building developer tools, infrastructure, or complex testing frameworks.
Proven ability to design and implement frameworks ensuring database state equivalence across different implementations.
Knowledge of change data capture, event-driven database interception, and state comparison algorithms.
Proficiency in Spring Boot, MongoDB, and JDBC/JPA.
Extensive experience with relational and document data modeling using SQL and document databases.
Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and their time and space complexity.
