What you'll do

Build Atlas Migration Services and tooling for data movement and disaster recovery features.
Develop backend systems to solve scalability, performance, and usability challenges in distributed environments.
Design and implement APIs and services within a microservice architecture.
Solve complex technical problems related to data streaming, replication, and fault tolerance.
Review code and contribute to the design of new features and system architectures.
Lead the design and development of major new features for the C2C product suite.
Provide technical support for products used by both internal and external customers.

What we're looking for

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software engineering focused on backend systems.
Proficiency in writing distributed backend systems using a compiled language such as Java, C#, Go, or C++.
Solid understanding of distributed systems and experience designing APIs and services in a microservice environment.
Experience with at least one major cloud platform including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience in data streaming, replication, database systems, scalability, performance, reliability, or fault tolerance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
