Software Engineer 1

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain high-quality software products.
• Write production-ready, testable code while taking full stack ownership of software artifacts.
• Create optimal technical designs that prioritize scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Perform failure analysis and propose design changes to improve operational stability.
• Conduct code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance.
• Ensure all product development follows established security and compliance best practices.
• Identify, resolve, and retest software defects to maintain a high-quality customer experience.
• Review and prioritize tasks for incremental delivery while communicating potential blockers or delays.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two to three years of relevant experience.
• Expert-level coding skills in Java and Spring Boot (preferred).
• Knowledge of Shell Scripting, GitLab, SQL, and Linux (preferred).
• Functional testing experience, including manual and automated tests (preferred).
• DevOps capabilities in containers, cloud, automation, security, configuration management, and CI/CD (preferred).
• Extensive knowledge in modeling and application design and architecture (preferred).
• Experience in Unit Testing and Agile Software Development (preferred).
