Software Engineer III

What you'll do

• Complete product technical designs, prototyping, and software development based on business requirements.
• Perform system analysis and programming activities to deliver high-quality software into production.
• Provide technical engineering support for applications from initial code delivery until retirement.
• Develop and test applications using industry best practices and standard coding guidance.
• Plan unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability, security, and performance.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues to provide timely resolutions.
• Manage task estimates, scope, and timelines for critical deliverables with minimal assistance.
• Participate in the definition and documentation of departmental and corporate standards.

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, STEM field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Object Oriented Programming Concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL and SQL Queries.
• Ability to assess circumstances using sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify root cause (preferred).
• Strong knowledge in software development methodologies, domain/industry knowledge, and business issues (preferred).
• Ability to demonstrate strong skills in software design, research, communication, and time management (preferred).
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal assistance while remaining flexible (preferred).
