What you'll do

Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of software engineers focused on embedded systems and automation.
Set technical direction and priorities for the RTI infrastructure and automation framework.
Own the end-to-end delivery of system software including OS drivers, IPC frameworks, and telemetry infrastructure.
Lead OS bring-up activities for custom ASICs to ensure stable firmware foundations.
Maintain and evolve OS drivers to support hardware capabilities and system requirements.
Oversee the design and maintenance of telemetry pipelines and operational dashboards for monitoring system health.
Make architectural decisions that balance performance, reliability, and maintainability for space-grade embedded systems.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
3+ years of engineering team management experience.
7+ years of engineering experience.
Knowledge of full software/hardware/network development lifecycles including coding standards, source control, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in networking or large-scale distributed systems.
Experience with OS drivers, IPC frameworks, telemetry infrastructure, and ASIC bring-up.
Master's degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering or 5+ years of wireless communications experience.
Experience in ETL management and data pipeline development.
