What you'll do

Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of SDEs focused on MAC analytics and automation.
Set technical direction and priorities by balancing short-term deliverables with long-term architectural investments.
Own the vision and delivery of the MAC Analyzer tool using ML-based anomaly detection and telemetry databases.
Develop self-improving analytical pipelines to automate triage, root cause analysis, and reporting from raw telemetry data.
Build intuitive interfaces that make MAC diagnostics accessible to non-domain experts.
Own the strategy and execution of an automated test framework for MAC features like QoS and traffic shaping.
Drive automation of scenario-based testing for complex MAC configurations using traffic generation tools.
Deliver regression suites with comprehensive test coverage metrics integrated into the release testing pipeline.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
10+ years of engineering experience.
3+ years of engineering team management experience.
5+ years of industry experience with Telecom, Data Plane networking, distributed systems, or similar.
Knowledge of engineering practices for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
Experience in communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership to describe software product features and strategy (preferred).
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates.
