What you'll do

Design, develop, integrate, and bring up Kuiper-MAC firmware components and drivers in real-time embedded environments.

Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet end-to-end use case requirements.
Build component use-cases and test-cases to debug code within the LEO embedded environment.
Profile and execute code on RTOS and bare-metal embedded environments.
Define and document firmware-hardware interfaces and debug associated issues.
Contribute to defining services and functionalities delivered by firmware subsystems.

What we're looking for

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
1+ years of experience developing large-scale, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
