As an Embedded Software Engineer, Leo MAC, Leo MAC, you will join the LEO-MAC-SW team to develop embedded firmware for ground networks on customer terminals and satellites. You will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and bringing up Kuiper-MAC firmware components and drivers within a real-time environment. Your daily work involves making performance and optimization trade-offs, defining multi-dimensional requirements like memory bandwidth, and debugging code in LEO embedded environments. You will also define hardware interfaces and contribute to the functionality of firmware subsystems. What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
