What you'll do

Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team to design and implement manufacturing software systems.
Architect scalable software solutions that meet functional requirements, security standards, and performance specifications.
Define the technical roadmap and translate business requirements into actionable software deliverables.
Integrate software solutions with manufacturing systems to improve production throughput and quality.
Leverage AWS cloud services, IoT, and data analytics to optimize production operations.
Create rapid prototypes and guide the implementation of robust, scalable systems.
Partner with hardware and satellite software teams to deliver manufacturing efficiency improvements.
Define and implement growth strategies for software services and team capabilities.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
5+ years of engineering team management experience.
8+ years of experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
Experience communicating with users and leadership to collect requirements and describe software product features (preferred).
Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and managing software engineers (preferred).
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates.
