Software Development Engineering As a member of the FastAuth team within the Specialty Access & Affordability value stream, you will build and scale applications designed to move specialty prescriptions through prior authorization faster. This hands-on role involves designing and developing robust web applications while collaborating with engineers and architects to implement Azure cloud solutions. You will work on an event-driven architecture to solve complex business requirements by creating elegant technical solutions. The day-to-day work involves building features, monitoring production environments, troubleshooting, and participating in agile ceremonies. To succeed, you must be proficient in TypeScript, React, and .NET while utilizing Azure infrastructure and Kafka for event-driven systems. You will also leverage AI tools in your development workflow to support the technical goal of reducing the time between a prescription being written and a patient starting therapy.

What you'll do

Design and develop robust, scalable web applications using TypeScript, React, and .NET.
Build and maintain an event-driven architecture for processing specialty prescriptions.
Implement Azure cloud solutions in collaboration with engineers and architects.
Translate complex business requirements into simple, elegant technical solutions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and provide continuous improvement for production systems.
Deliver high-quality code at a predictable cadence within an agile development framework.
Participate in technical planning, design reviews, and other agile ceremonies.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant professional experience building and shipping production software applications.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, and/or .NET.
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
Working knowledge of event-driven architecture, ideally including Kafka.
A track record of using AI tools effectively in your day-to-day development workflow.
Experience with healthcare applications, EHR integrations, RPA technology, FHIR standards, or automated testing (preferred).
Contributions to open source projects or developer communities (preferred).
