The Software Development Engineer in Test, Full Stack, Creativity Apps joins the Creativity Applications team to validate innovative on-device ML and AI features. You will plan, design, write, and maintain test strategies and plans to ensure high-quality releases for creative professionals and visual storytellers. Your daily work involves reporting bugs with precise isolation, managing priorities, and coordinating multi-functional test efforts. You will utilize Python, Swift, and JavaScript to prototype features and build scalable test automation frameworks for mobile and web platforms using XCTest, Selenium, or WebdriverIO. The role requires proficiency in testing iOS/macOS applications, cloud-based frameworks, and APIs. You will specifically address technical challenges within the creative space, including video editing workflows and GenAI tool validation within a CI/CD pipeline environment.
Plan, design, write, and maintain comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for mobile and web platforms.
Validate new on-device ML and AI features within creative applications.
Report bugs using outstanding isolation and regression techniques to ensure feature stability.
Drive quality and process improvements to ensure features are ready for production release.
Prototype features and create internal tools using Python, Swift, and/or JavaScript.
Manage CI/CD pipelines and associated tools like Jenkins or Xcode Server.
Coordinate multi-functional test efforts across various engineering teams.
What we're looking for
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or similar engineering roles.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Fluency in Python, Swift, and/or JavaScript to prototype features and test internal tools.
Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks for mobile and web platforms using XCTest, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
Proficiency in testing iOS/macOS and/or mobile apps, cloud-based frameworks, and framework APIs.
Experience developing/validating GenAI tools or working on AI-adjacent projects.
Demonstrable experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and associated tools like Jenkins or Xcode Server.
Proven experience working on Creator or Creative platform applications (preferred).
