The Software Developer Engineer in Test Manager, Creativity Apps leads and mentors a team of Software Development Engineers in Test to deliver high-quality iOS and macOS applications. This role involves managing multiple projects, setting team goals, evaluating performance, and overseeing the development and maintenance of automated test cases. The manager advocates for quality across the software development lifecycle, acting as a liaison between QA, product management, and engineering. Key responsibilities include utilizing Swift, Python, JavaScript, XCTest, Selenium, and WebdriverIO to build scalable test automation frameworks. The role also requires managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Xcode Server and applying LLMs or agents for testing. This position specifically supports the production of innovative tools for video editing, photo editing, and visual storytelling.
Lead and mentor a team of Software Development Engineers in Test to foster a culture of quality.
Manage multiple projects, set team goals, and create development plans to evaluate and improve performance.
Oversee the development and maintenance of automated test cases using Swift and Python.
Communicate risks, progress, and technical solutions to all levels of the organization.
Advocate for quality across the software development lifecycle by driving continuous process improvements.
Act as a key liaison between the QA team and product management, engineering, and other stakeholders.

What we're looking for
7+ years of experience in a Software Development Engineer in Test or Quality Engineering role.
3+ years of experience in a QA leadership role managing a team.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with programming languages such as Swift, JavaScript, or Python.
Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks for mobile and web platforms using tools like XCTest, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
Demonstrable experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and associated tools.
Demonstrable hands-on experience applying LLMs or agents for testing with at least one tool shipped and used by other engineers.
Experience in video/photo editing technologies or a passion for creative tools (preferred).
