JOB TITLE: Software Development Engineer in Test – Apps, Identity Management Services The Software Development Engineer in Test – Apps, Identity Management Services joins the Identity Management Services team to build high-scale software applications powering core identity systems across various platforms. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance. Key responsibilities involve defining and evolving automated test frameworks, monitoring CI performance, and driving quality work through test result analysis and triage. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve UX and technical issues while contributing to security and privacy testing for authentication systems. Required skills include proficiency in Swift and Python, experience with functional unit, integration, and regression testing, and knowledge of iOS, macOS, RESTful web services, Spring, and ServiceTalk. You will ensure scalable, secure infrastructure for billions of daily user interactions.

What you'll do

Define, implement, and evolve automated test frameworks for high-scale software applications.
Monitor CI performance and drive test result analysis, triage, and reporting.
Identify and close gaps in existing test plans with a focus on scalability.
Advocate for quality throughout the full software development lifecycle.
Surface and resolve UX and technical issues early in the development cycle.
Contribute to security and privacy testing for authentication and identity management systems.
Develop and maintain automated UI and non-UI tests for iOS, macOS, and Web platforms.

What we're looking for

5+ years of proven experience in Software Development and/or Quality Engineering.
BA/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
Strong programming and software design skills, preferably in Swift and/or Python (preferred).
Experience building automated UI and non-UI tests for iOS, macOS, Web, Android, and Windows.
Excellent knowledge of test methodologies including functional unit, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
Experience with security, privacy, or authentication-related testing (preferred).
Knowledge of the Apple development ecosystem including Xcode, Xcode Cloud, and XCTest/XCUITest (preferred).
Experience leveraging Generative AI tools to accelerate test authoring or defect triage (preferred).
